Rates for Translations, Editing, Proofreading and Additional Services
Whether you require translation, editing or proofreading services in German or English, we offer competitive prices, student discounts and custom-tailored flat rates for larger-sized orders.
Our rates are generally calculated per line of text (a standard line has 55 characters including spacing). Lines are counted with a tool called APlusCounts.
Proofreading
Starting at 0.37 euro cents per line
Flat fee per page for files with 10 pages and up: 5.00–7.00 euros (a standard page has a maximum of 30 standard lines with a total of 1,500–1,650 characters incl. spacing, depending on the text type)
Editing
Starting at 0.55 euro cents per line
Flat fee per page for files with 10 pages and up: 7.00–8.50 euros (a standard page has a maximum of 30 standard lines with a total of 1,500–1,650 characters incl. spacing, depending on the text type)
Translations
Starting at 0.80 euro cents for general texts; specialized/technical translations range from 1.00–1.50 euro per line (source language). Translations of faxed or scanned documents are billed on a time basis.
